Terms & Conditions
By placing an order with Frame Your Flowers, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
-
Flower Drying Process: Please be aware that during the drying process, the colour and appearance of your flowers may change. While we take every precaution to preserve the beauty of your bouquet, some flowers may lose their shape and colour. This is a natural aspect of flower drying and preservation. Some browning of the flowers may occur, and you should be comfortable with this possibility before placing your order.
-
Flower Colour: We do not colour correct your flowers. Some artists do this, however we prefer to maintain the natural beauty of your flowers.
-
Flower Quality: The extent of change in your flowers will depend on their initial quality, freshness, and condition at the time of receipt. While we strive to dry and frame your flowers to the highest standard, we cannot be held responsible for any issues resulting from the condition of the flowers when we receive them. If there are concerns about the quality of your flowers upon arrival, we will contact you to discuss possible options. This may include replacing flowers at a cost or arranging for replacement flowers to be sent.
-
Petal Shedding: It is normal for some petals and particles from the drying medium to fall from the preserved bouquet over time and during transportation. The frames are designed to be opened from the back if you wish to remove any fallen petals.
-
Longevity and Maintenance: Over time, dried flowers will brown within the frame. To help preserve their appearance, the frame should be kept in a dry environment, away from direct sunlight, and in conditions that are not hot or humid. However, due to the nature of dried flowers, we cannot guarantee a specific lifespan, nor can we be responsible for any changes to the flowers.
-
Unsuitable Flowers: Certain flowers, such as lilies and fully open peonies, are unsuitable for drying and will not be used in your frame. Flowers like sunflowers and gerberas may lose their petals during the drying process, altering their appearance from the fresh version.
-
Bouquet Scaling: Most bouquets will be scaled down to fit within the frame, meaning not all flowers will be used. We will select the highest quality flowers for inclusion in your frame.
-
Shipping Responsibility: It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that the flowers are sent as soon as possible after the wedding, ideally within 1-3 days. We will confirm the specific day for shipping once your order is placed. Flowers must be sent on the designated day to ensure they arrive within the allocated drying time slot. If you experience any issues with posting on this day, please notify us immediately.
-
Packaging and Delivery: The sender is responsible for packaging the bouquet according to our instructions and sending it via Royal Mail Special Delivery by 9 am or 1 pm. We are not liable for any damage caused by poor packaging or mishandling by Royal Mail.
-
Missed Deliveries: If you fail to send your flowers on the requested date or don’t send them at all, you risk losing your place in our order books and your order may be cancelled. Each order placed includes a booking fee of £50 which is non-refundable.
-
Frame Substitution: If we are unable to supply your chosen frame due to availability issues, we will endeavor to provide the closest possible match or offer an alternative frame.
-
Deposit and Payment: A non-refundable fee of £50 is included in your order to secure your wedding date, signifying your agreement to our terms and conditions. The remaining balance will be due once your flowers are dried, and we are ready to order your frame (typically 8-12 weeks after the wedding). The final balance, minus the deposit, plus any applicable postage and packaging, must be paid upon receipt of the invoice. This also applies to orders paid in full.
-
Order Cancellation: Failure to pay the final invoice may result in order cancellation and the deposit not being refunded.
-
Turnaround Time: Our typical turnaround time is approximately 20 weeks from when we receive your flowers (not from the wedding date). During peak periods, this time frame may be extended. We reserve the right to adjust the turnaround time as necessary.
-
Post-Delivery Petal Loss: Some small particles may fall from the bouquet during shipping. We cannot be held responsible for these events, and the frame can be opened from the back to remove any loose particles.
-
Dissatisfaction: If you are unhappy with your order, you must contact us within 5 days of receipt.
-
Marketing Permission: By placing an order, you grant us permission to use photos of your flowers and the finished frame for marketing purposes.
-
Collection Policy: If you do not collect your finished frame within one month of completion, we may request payment for postage to deliver the frame. If this payment is not made, we reserve the right to dispose of the frame without issuing a refund. We will hold completed frames for a maximum of one month.
-
Collection Hours: Collections are available during workshop hours. If these times are unsuitable, we will try to accommodate an alternative collection time, but this cannot be guaranteed. If you are unable to collect your frame, we may ask you to pay for postage instead.
-
Non-Communication: Failure to communicate with us regarding your order may result in cancellation and the deposit not being refunded.
